Tell us about yourself.

I was born in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. I moved to the United States when I was 15 years old. After I graduated from El Paso High School in 2012, I enrolled at El Paso Community College. In 2014, I transferred to the University of Texas El Paso to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. While at UTEP, I pursued many academic opportunities, such as studying abroad in Peru for an engineering sustainability program and interning for two consecutive years with one of the largest gas distribution companies in the U.S, ONE Gas. After earning my degree in 2017, ONE Gas offered me the opportunity to join their team as a full-time employee at the El Paso service center. Beyond my career, in April 2019, I obtained my U.S. citizenship fulfilling my American dream. On my spare time I like to study and experience new things such as self-defense, acting, modeling, personal finances, nutrition, and more.

I enjoy doing many things on my free time. I enjoy reading, mostly on finances, investing, and self-development. I also like doing any kind of outdoor activity, especially hiking and camping. These hobbies help me clear my mind after a week full of challenges and routine.

Do you have any skills or talents most people don’t know about?

Whether they are skills, talents or simply hobbies, some of the things I enjoy doing are playing guitar, boxing, modeling, public speaking and working out. While I work to hone my skills on these hobbies, I look forward to adding to this list.

I envision that in the next 5 years or so I will have grown my business, served in a leadership capacity at the company, own my house, invested, and traveled around the world.
